This is our Christmas Card this year 🙂
Why is it that the biggest tree on the lot is the one that always catches the small child’s interest? I have to admit though I have always dreamed of having a 20 foot tree 😉

It was a trick on me at least. I know by now that I can not leave my 2.5 year old unattended. But I have recently been enjoying having a little more free time to do work and paint recently because he has been playing on his own a little more. However, last night he somehow tricked me. I was in the room and I swear I don’t know how or when this happened but he did it:
And why he couldn’t have picked yellow I don’t know. 🙂 Oh well. Its time to make costumes now. You can see the painting on the far side finished on my other blog – thankfully it was spared.

Audrey’s Nurturing made Newton grow into a happy, talkative Guinea Pig.
We are pet sitting for Audrey. She has the most nurturing spirit. People & guinea pigs around her grow in love and happiness from her good stories and amazing ability to teach! Newton has an incredible amount of personality for a guinea pig!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUDREY!

I’ve been pretty busy recently – so no new sketches or anything. But I do have some work that I can show 🙂
I worked with Dan Segarra to get his new website up. Dan was good to work with & has a lot of neat animation work. I met him in Chicago at a sketchcrawl that I was kind of randomly able to go to. Sketchcrawl was tons of fun.
I’ve also worked with Tim to redesign A Midwest Haunting. He wanted a Dark and Gothic site to promote his ghost tours The tours are a good time. My sister & I last year – Take a friend & a camera!
Also, I donated a logo and some graphic design work to the local ALS Walk-Ride fundraiser. They plastered it all over t-shirts, signs, ads and water bottles. Its alway enjoyable to see my work in print. 🙂 And I am glad that I had the opportunity to support the cause.
I’ve got a couple smaller sites and one more logo coming up and then maybe my fall will slow down a bit.

Last weekend we took our small group for a canoe trip. Tons of fun 🙂
Before we started playing bumper canoes, I got a couple sketches in.
The next day ‘the girls’ had a sewing day. Audrey taught us a few sewing tricks.
